Accord Architecture designed a $9 MIL, multi-phased
renovation and expansion project at PACHS in 2005 which involved the long-term care, acute care, obstetrics, pharmacy, and community health departments of the hospital. On the heels of that project in 2008, Accord renovated the surgery department. Accord’s most recent work at PACHS in 2015 included the expansion and renovation of the emergency department, rehab services, and registration along with a remodeling of the clinic. This was a direct result of Accord’s master plan design provided in 2013. This recent project expanded the hospital an additional 7,800 SF and renovated over 20,000 SF. Accord lead multi-day 3P lean events in which a team creates and tests potential designs. The goal was to optimize flow and value to the staff and patients.
