Accord's transformation of this existing two-story building in Ames, Iowa breathed new life into what was once believed to be a building deteriorated beyond repair. The bones were good, but the envelope required new energy and aesthetic improvements. with an open office environment, Accord and Henkel have enjoyed their new presence in central Iowa. It is a green project by the nature of saving the majority of the building rather than sending it to the landfill, but other sustainable amenities include LED lighting, high R-value envelope, and an energy efficient HVAC system make this a viable building for years to come...
